Playing with the algorithm and getting views

couple of days ago ..., matter of fact going on two and a half days ago ..., I did a posting on one of the social media accounts ..., one of the ones that when your algorithm is real good, you get good traction ..., on that one I have about 100 followers, that's it ..., 70 followers, 80 followers, somewhere in that range, let's say 70 followers, I don't remember the number, I don't pay attention to the numbers ..., 

did a posting and in two and a half days I got 51,000 views ..., about two weeks ago on one of my postings I got 46,000 views ..., but about four or five days ago on my posting I got like 7,800 views ..., and that's good for the fact that on my previous multiple postings I would normally get between 200 and 300 views ..., that was my average and the platform will normally show your stuff to 200 to 250 people and if you get traction it'll show it to more, if you get no traction that's all it'll show it to ..., 

so when I used to do creative posts, all my different food items, all my intelligent stuff, all my different this and that, every once in a while I get a few thousand views, but the majority of the time I got between 200 and 300 views ..., that was the majority of the time, let's not talk about exceptions, majority of the time between 200 and 300 views ..., 

and I'm talking all kinds of postings, food, videos making coffee, videos making food, pictures of this, pictures of that, creative sayings, whatever, wouldn't get a lot of traction, 

then I started doing videos of myself getting a free sample out of a machine, I'd go to the big box membership store, video myself getting a free sample, and all I would do is pretty much point the video camera at me walking over to the machine, putting my card in, watching the video that you have to watch to get the free item, after you watch the video then the machine would drop down your free item, I'd pick up the item, whatever it happened to be, and point it at the video camera, that would be my video, less than a minute, I started doing that, and for whatever reason, started getting a lot of views, I'd get a few thousand here, I'd get 6 or 7 thousand there, I'd get 12 thousand, just all kinds of all over the place, 

one of my biggest amount of views I'd gotten was like 61 thousand views, I was happy with that, and then within the last week or so, I had gotten 46 thousand views on one of my videos, and I said oh wow, and then the previous video I just did, it was like 7 thousand views, it was like okay, that's not as good as 46 thousand, but I'm happy with 7 thousand views, but it froze, it froze at about 7 thousand views, so I rushed and uploaded one more video, and this one was me getting some coffee out of the machine, free coffee, 

and in two and a half days, 51 thousand views,

 what's the point? The theme, the point, is I figured out that the people that my algorithm shows the video to,too. Whoever those people are, they like that type of video, the sample machine kind of video.

 Well, since I know they like that type of video and that's what they're going to view, then I need to continue making those type of videos. That's what my audience likes. 

See, the point of this video is, this audio, I'm not a video, this is audio. Point of this audio is, you find out what your audience likes and you give it to them.

 Find out what your audience likes and give it to them. 

Have you heard that before? Yeah, that's the exact same thing as, find out what people want to buy and sell them what they want to buy. Find out what people want to buy and sell them what they want to buy. It's all the same concept. 

That's it. Find out what they want, give them what they want. 

It's not about what you want to do, it's what they want to buy. 

Now, the hard way of doing it is, you have something you want to sell and you find an audience to buy what you want to sell. That's the hard way to do it. It can be done, but it's a whole lot harder than finding out what they want. So, back to what they want. My audience wants free sample machine videos, that's what I'm going to keep giving them.
