Marketing distractions and forgotten projects

11:37

It can be hard for me

to stay on task when it comes to making recordings due to the fact that a lot of different things come to my mind.

I see marketing;

I eat, drink, and sleep marketing, and a lot of different marketing things come to my mind.

For example, the other matter of fact, let's go yesterday. So yesterday, I was sitting in the car doing some screenshots on my cell phone and making a collage. I was making a collage about an email, a marketing email that I had read. And I did some screenshots on some of the notes in the email, and I was going to make a posting about that item. A friend of mine got in the car, went in, did my day. That product, that marketing item never got done. It never got done. Matter of fact, now that I'm thinking about it, that wasn't yesterday. That was two days ago when I was working on that product.

So two days ago, I'm working on that product. I'm in the middle of making a collage. A friend gets in the car, and I do not use the collage software app. I don't use a collage app on my smartphone for a day and a half. Don't use the app. So when the friend gets in the car, and I go on about my life, I forgot about that product. I forgot about that project I was working on. Totally forgot.

Matter of fact, it's O dark 30 now, and the only reason I remembered that project was that I logged into the collage app a few minutes ago to make a new project, and that one was sitting in the app.

So we're going to leave from there. And then the next day, no, let's go back to where I'm going.

So this morning at about 1:30 in the morning, I wake up, and I'm watching an old TV program, Mannix. The TV happened to be on, and Mannix happened to be on TV, so I'm glancing at Mannix and watching it, and I'm only watching it because the TV happened to be on. So I'm watching the program. It's an old TV program, and a couple of commercials come on. There's some kind of robotic arm, and that robotic arm commercial made me think about the bionic man and bionics, and then a water hose commercial came on, infomercial.

I try my best to remember the names of those two products. I'm still watching Mannix for a good 40 minutes, and I can't get to my phone because I'm in the middle of watching Mannix, and I didn't feel like leaving and going to the other room to get my phone.

So I'm trying my best to remember the two products that I saw, the Mannix, the bionic arm product, and the water hose. Finally, 45 minutes goes by, and I can go to the other room. I looked up the water hose and I looked up the bionic arm thing, and while I'm with my cell phone, I looked at all the pictures and videos. There were 300 and something pictures in my phone and 20 something videos that I had taken.

So I see that number in my gallery. I'm looking up the two infomercials I saw, and I get on the focus of, hmm, let me make a marketing thing.

Let me make an audio note about how many pictures I've taken and how many videos I've taken.

So I get on that mindset, but then I still have to create the content for the two infomercial products that I saw. Again, I get distracted to work on the recordings, the screenshots for what have I done. I've done all these videos and pictures, and I knew that I cleared out my phone within the last week, so I'm looking at these pictures and videos that are all done in less than a week.

So that's going through my mind as I'm trying to make the other content. Then I'm looking at one of the videos, and it was me stopped at a red light waiting for the train to go by, and I see that that video is almost 13 minutes.

So I'm going to do something and make some kind of content with that product. So I had made a screenshot of that train engine. So I make the screenshot of that train engine.

Now mind you, all of these things are taking place at the same time because I'm trying to make one audio and make one picture, etc. But all these things are in my smartphone, and they're all right in front of me.

As I work on one, I see all the other ones. I do all these little projects, and they're all being done in the same 30-minute time frame.

Screenshot this, screenshot that, and I open my collage program to bring in a couple of the screenshots, and there is an ad for the water hose in my smartphone, the water hose that I just looked up to make an audio recording to find the name of the water hose so I can make my audio recording.

I just looked it up within the last couple of minutes, and I already see an ad for that water hose as an ad inside of my app for my video editor.

That was a long path to get to the fact that a pixel was placed on my phone, and in less than two minutes, that pixel is already showing me ads for the water hose that I looked up a couple of minutes ago.

That wasn't the purpose of this audio.

The purpose of this audio were all those different things that I talked about.

All those different things that I talked about will be individual audios that I do throughout today. Individual audios with its own pictures that I will do throughout today.

But it's 2 something in the morning, and I'm doing this very long recording simply to show that at this time in the morning, all these different things are going on in my mind.

All these different projects are going on in my mind, and I'm working on.

Because of the thoughts that are in my head, the marketing that I like to do, and the fact that I knew on my smartphone, I have this audio program application that I am recording on right now that I'm able to use at the push of a button with my eyes closed while laying in bed.

Rico here, ... later.
